House rules
CHECK-IN/OUT
The standard check-in time is 2:00 PM, while check-out is 11:00 AM. Requests for early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and are dependent on the arrival and departure times of previous and next guests. Additionally, we require a few hours to professionally clean and prepare the apartment for your stay. Should you need an early check-in (before 2:00 PM) or late check-out (after 11:00 AM), a fee of 15 euros (30BGN) will apply.
REGISTRATION
As per Article 116 of the Bulgarian Law on Tourism, all hosts are required to provide the personal details of each guest who will be staying in the apartment to the Bulgarian authorities. We will provide you with a secure online registration form upon booking to comply with this regulation. Each guest must complete this form accurately. Please note that failure to fill out the form or providing false information will result in the cancellation of your reservation without any refund. We strictly adhere to this legal requirement, and no exceptions will be made.
TRANSPORT
We offer a paid transportation service for up to 6 people to and from the airport, bus, or train station. The availability of the service is subject to the arrival and departure hours. For transfers scheduled between 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the fee is 30 Euro (60 BGN) per transfer. For transfers scheduled between 6:00 PM to 8:00 AM, the fee is 45 euros (90 BGN) per transfer. Please note that the service is subject to availability.
HEATING/COOLING
For your comfort, the apartment is equipped with a fully automatic climate control system. It maintains a comfortable temperature throughout the year without any manual adjustments needed from your side. The room temperature and humidity are monitored digitally.
- Winter: The system automatically maintains a temperature of 22°C (72°F).
- Summer: The system automatically maintains a temperature of 25°C (77°F)
- The climate control system is fully automated and cannot be manually adjusted.
- To conserve energy, the system automatically turns off when a window in the room is opened.
- The system automatically turns off if a room is unoccupied for more than 30 minutes.
ELEVATOR
Due to the historical nature of the building, please note that there is no elevator available. The apartment is located on the 4th floor, and thus, you may need to take the stairs to reach it.
QUIET HOURS
Please be aware that the city has code-enforced neighborhood quiet hours from 10 PM to 8 AM, as well as between 2 PM and 4 PM. To ensure a peaceful stay for all residents, we kindly ask that you respect the quiet hours and avoid causing excessive noise in the common areas of the building or inside the apartment at any time. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
NO PARTIES/EVENTS/GATHERINGS
While Sofia is a great city for partying, we kindly ask that you refrain from hosting any parties or engaging in unruly behavior within the apartment. Should we receive any serious complaints about disruptive behavior, we may have to ask you to leave the premises. We hope that this will not be necessary, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a peaceful and respectful atmosphere in the apartment. Thank you.
CLEANLINESS
We would like to remind you that our team conducts a thorough professional cleaning of the apartment between each guest’s stay. However, before checking out, we kindly ask that you wash and put away any dishes or kitchenware that you may have used during your stay. This helps us to expedite the cleaning process and keep the cleaning costs low for both you and future guests. While we do not expect you to clean the apartment before your departure, we do ask that you maintain a high level of cleanliness and respect for the property during your stay. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
NO-SHOES
To maintain the cleanliness and preservation of our wooden floorboards, we kindly ask our guests to abide by our no-shoe policy inside the apartment. Please take off your shoes upon entering and make yourself comfortable.
DAMAGE
We understand that accidents can happen, and we kindly request that you inform us if any occur during your stay. We will do our best to address and resolve any issues as quickly and seamlessly as possible.
SMOKING
To ensure the comfort and safety of all guests, smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartment. Smoking is only permitted on the balcony. We kindly ask that you dispose of all cigarette butts in the ashtray provided and refrain from throwing them over the balcony. Any evidence of smoking inside the apartment will result in an additional cleaning fee of 100 euros.
DRUGS
We are sorry, but we cannot generate inappropriate content, including content related to drug use or any other illegal activity. It is important to follow all laws and regulations regarding drug use while staying at any property.
OCCUPANCY
Any additional guests not declared in the reservation must be approved by us in advance. We reserve the right to charge an additional fee for each additional guest, and any unregistered guests will not be permitted to stay in the apartment. Please also note that our apartment is not suitable for parties or events, and we ask that you respect our neighbors’ peace and quiet at all times.
VIOLATING THE RULES?
Thank you for respecting our property and our neighbors. However, please be advised that any violation of the rules will result in immediate eviction with no refund and a fine of 350 Euro will be imposed.
HAVE A PET? PERFECT!
Domestic pets are allowed. No more than 2 domestic pets are allowed at one time. Pets are not allowed on furniture at any time. Any evidence of pets on furniture may incur extra cleaning fees. All pets are to be treated with a topical flea and tick repellent two (2) weeks prior to arrival. Fleas and ticks are very rampant in this area and can cause harmful/fatal illnesses to humans and pets. Be sure to keep your pets on a leash or in a carrier if they’re outside the apartment. Pets may remain alone in the apartment so long as the pet is well-behaved. However, if your pet is disturbing the neighbors or causing damage, then it cannot be left alone and must remain in your control. Please, clean up after your pets. If your cat is staying with you, you’ll need to provide a litter box. If the apartment requires excessive cleaning, or if damages are incurred as a result of your pet’s actions, we may charge for additional services and repairs. We count on you to prevent your pet from making excessive noise, being disruptive, or being aggressive. If your pet is deemed dangerous, harmful, or disruptive, we have sole discretion to require you to find other accommodations.
